0. Basics
1. The following Terms are common to all VBs produced and distributed by McGyber (@McGyber_SDVX_DR, the "Admin") in the future (hereinafter referred to as "Distributed VBs"), including "Kang-woo JP VCV 1.0" first produced and distributed by the "Admin".
1-1) In the case of VBs that are subject to a different Term from the following Terms, the corresponding contents will be specified separately.
2. When using 'Distributed VBs', it is deemed that the 'User' has agreed to the contents of the Terms.
3. If a 'User' is found to be in violation of the Terms, the 'Admin' may request the 'User' to take measures such as modifying or deleting the post in the first instance.
4. If the 'User' fails to take the action requested by the 'Admin' based on the violation, the 'Admin' may take the following actions based on the level of violation.
- Minor violation: fulfill a report for the creation or post that violated the Terms.
- Major violations: fulfill reports against accounts that uploaded posts in violation of the Terms.
- Serious violations: legal action against the 'User' themselves
4-1) The criteria for determining the 'level of violation' are as follows.
- The degree of material/mental damage suffered by the 'Admin' due to the violation of the Terms
- The degree of damage to the image of the 'Distributed VBs' due to the violation of the Terms
- The illegality of the behavior itself
- Persistence and repetitiveness of the violation, etc.
4-2) If the 'Admin' determines that the 'User's' legitimate behavior is in violation of the Terms or makes an unreasonable request based on this, please contact the 'Admin' directly first.
5. Inform the 'User' that he/she is solely responsible for any problems or damages caused by violation of the Terms.
1. Processing and Redistribution
1. We allow individuals to process VBs for general use as follows.
- Processing for the purpose of improving the sound quality or volume of the original WAV file before tuning
- Noise removal functions such as noise filter/high-pass/low-pass/EQ adjustment
- Loudness adjustments such as normalization, limiter, compressor, etc.
- Processing that can be performed using only the basic functions of the UTAU program in tuning progress
- Flag settings (but please refrain from excessive use of the g flag)
- Modifying oto configuration or frq files, aliases, etc.
- Adjusting preutterance or overlap, consonant speeds
- Processing that does not lose the individuality of the VB during the mixing process
* If a third party is unable to infer the identity of the two voices by comparing the mixing result with the original VB, it will be
determined that 'The Individuality of the VB has been Lost'.
2. Regardless of the intended use, the following processing is prohibited.
- Processing that changes the timbre or pitch of the original WAV file.
- Processing that requires separate plug-ins, macros, etc. that are not included in the UTAU program during the tuning progress
- Processing that results in a clear loss of the individuality of the VB during the mixing process.
3. Redistribution of VB is strictly prohibited, regardless of whether the files have been modified.
- If you wish to distribute a modified version of the oto.ini or frq file for the purpose of improving the quality of the original VB,
please contact the 'Admin'.
- If you have acquaintances who need the VBs, please direct them to download them from the official site.
- If you are unable to download VBs from the official site due to system errors, please contact the 'Admin'.
2. Creating and Publishing Derivative Works
1. For derivative works created using the 'Distributed VBs' (hereinafter referred to as "Works"), the following are fully permitted.
- Use of profanity and abusive language
- Drinking and smoking behavior
2. We allow the following limited content for 'Works'.
- Assaults and acts of violence: In serious cases, measures such as posting a warning or restricting access to minors must be taken,
and content about hateful expressions or crimes such as bodily harm is prohibited.
- Sexual behavior: In serious cases, measures such as posting a warning or restricting access to minors must be taken,
and content about expressions that cause sexual shame or sexual crime is prohibited.
3. Direct and indirect expressions of the following are prohibited for 'Works'.
- Acts related to the production and trade of drugs, inhalation, etc.
- Acts related to the conduct of gambling activities
- Acts that clearly violate the "Act on the Protection of Children and Young Persons"
- Other acts that clearly violate the rights of others
4. We allow the following "Works" to be produced.
- Covers of existing music utilizing VBs
- Production of HANASU, talkroids, etc. utilizing VBs
- Writing novels, etc. utilizing the official setting
- Production of illustrations, comics, videos, etc. utilizing the official setting and character images.
5. Derivative works utilizing characters that are different from the "Distributed VBs" are fully permitted as long as they do not harm the official setting.
5-1) However, if the "Work" clearly infringes on the rights of the "Admin" or other character rights holders, we may request measures
such as modification or deletion of the post.
6. When posting a 'Work' that complies with the rules, you must specify the name of the VB used and the creator of the illustration if you use an official illustration.
7. There are no restrictions on where and in what format you can post your 'Works'.
8. ALL OF SEXUAL/VIOLENT 'WORKS' USING KANG-WOO_FAIRY-TAIL ARE STRONGLY PROHIBITED. (added at 2024/09/18)
3. Special Uses of 'Distributed VBs'
1. Commercial use
- Before using 'Distributed VBs' commercially, you must first notify the 'Admin' and obtain permission.
- Commercial use of 'Distributed VBs' is possible only for matters authorized by the 'Admin'.
- Commercial use of official illustrations of 'Distributed VBs' is completely prohibited.
2. Religious use
- Regardless of mainstream or non-mainstream religion, it is prohibited to use 'Distributed VBs' that may appear to be associated
with a particular religion.
- However, there are limited exceptions for things that are commonly encountered in everyday life (CCM, Chants, blasphemy, etc.)
or songs that have a strong meme potential.
3. Political use
- Regardless of the content of the subject matter covered, we prohibit any behavior that could cause the "Distributed VBs"
to appear to take a particular political stance.
- We prohibit the use of "Distributed VBs" to advocate for or denigrate a political party, regardless of its size or affiliation.
4. Social Use
- We prohibit the use of "Distributed VBs" to advocate for or denigrate a particular social organization, regardless of the size
or nature of the organization.
- Regardless of the intent of the user, we prohibit any activity that could be seen as advocating or denigrating a particular person
or group.
5. Use of AI
- It is completely prohibited to use data from 'Distributed VBs' for AI training without the consent of the 'Admin'.
- It is completely prohibited to use existing AI cover sites to generate covers based on 'Distributed VBs' without the consent of the 'Admin'.
6. Creation of derivative characters
- Creating derivative characters based on 'Distributed VBs' is completely prohibited.
4. Others
1. Copyright
- The overall copyright of the 'Distributed VBs' belongs to the 'Admin'.
- The copyright for the official illustrations of the 'Distributed VBs' belongs to the artist who created the illustrations.
- Copyright infringement, such as stealing the original WAV files, official illustrations, official setting, etc. of the 'Distributed VBs',
is completely prohibited.
2. If you find a case of violation, please contact the 'Admin' immediately.
